3D greenhouse configurator with modular add-ons and live AR visualization


OBJECTIVE
The goal was to digitalize the selection of high-end glass greenhouses through an intuitive, mobile-optimized experience. The primary challenge was to engineer a system that handles multi-category structural accessories - such as specialized ventilation windows and door modifications - ensuring they render with absolute precision on the main frame while dynamically updating pricing and country-specific data.
SOLUTION
We developed a highly responsive 3D configurator designed for seamless mobile and desktop use. The architecture utilizes intelligent component anchoring to snap windows and doors onto designated glass panels in real time.
To maximize buyer confidence, we integrated localized country selectors, real-time pricing, and a web-native AR engine that projects the fully customized greenhouse directly onto the user's garden plot at a 1:1 scale.

ARCHITECTURAL MODALITY
The configurator allows users to establish the greenhouse's core structural profile by switching between distinct architectural foundations, including Straight walls, Sloping walls, and Extra-high walls. The 3D engine dynamically updates the volumetric dimensions and scaling rules based on the selected profile.

GRANULAR PALETTE & RAL MAPPING
To simplify aesthetic personalization, we integrated a precise color-rendering library. Users can toggle between the base Aluminum finish, a classic Black, or choose from an array of industry-standard architectural coatings, complete with real-time custom pricing logic for non-standard finishes.

INTERNAL ORGANIZATION LAYOUTS
Beyond exterior windows and doors, the application features a dedicated "Organization" module for internal spatial planning. Customers can interactively install specialized workspaces directly into the 3D model, such as Wood work tables, Wood work shelves, or Plastic work tables, adjusting options for individual window bays or spanning multiple windows seamlessly.

THE RESULT
By visualizing complex architectural variables - like dynamic window placements and automated hardware - alongside absolute pricing and on-site AR scaling, the brand significantly boosted consumer confidence.
This eliminated structural configuration errors, reduced pre-sales support overhead, and drastically shortened the sales loop for high-ticket garden structures.
