

OBJECTIVE
The goal was to simplify the planning of custom privacy fencing using modular decorative panels. Unlike fixed structures, Hideaway Screens require precise calculations of spans, heights, and patterns to fit specific deck or patio layouts. We aimed to create a tool that handles this modular logic, allowing users to build a complete privacy wall section by section while exploring various artistic patterns.
SOLUTION
We developed a 3D customizer with a focus on Dynamic Span Logic. The system allows users to define "Span Length" and "Overall Height" using intuitive sliders, with the 3D model updating instantly to show the correct number of posts and panels.
A specialized Pattern Library allows for immediate visual swaps, ensuring the decorative impact is perfectly balanced with the functional privacy needs.

The configurator automatically calculates and renders the structure based on custom span lengths and height adjustments. Users can "Edit" or "Remove" specific spans to match their exact site plan.

Instant visualization of various laser-cut patterns. This allows customers to see how different designs affect the transparency and style of the wall.

AR SPACE VERIFICATION
Integrated Life-Size AR enables users to project their custom screen configuration onto their deck or garden. This is essential for verifying how the height and pattern density work within the real-world environment before purchase.

THE RESULT
By providing a 3D configurator that automatically handles modular scaling, we eliminated the risk of calculation errors for custom spans.
Combined with Life-Size AR, the tool empowers customers to "test-fit" their privacy walls in real-time, resulting in a significantly faster decision-making process and a superior level of trust in the final architectural outcome.
