OBJECTIVE
The goal was to transform a high-end technical sale into an effortless digital experience. Shoreline Awnings offers a wide range of structural variables - from specific attachment methods to integrated electrical systems. We needed to create a customizer that makes these complex architectural decisions feel intuitive and visually rewarding for the homeowner.
SOLUTION
We developed a high-performance 3D customizer that tracks a deep logic tree of architectural options in real-time. The interface allows for precise control over "Lattice" roof types, post dimensions (e.g., 4"x4"), and technical accessories.
We focused on extreme engine responsiveness, ensuring every color swap and dimensional change happens instantly, keeping the user engaged and confident in their design.

Real-time configuration of attachment styles, lattice roof types, and exact dimensions to fit any backyard. Users can define specific post sizes and integrate electrical options or technical accessories directly into the 3D model.

INATANT MATERIAL RENDERING
The engine provides immediate visual feedback for all frame and roof color combinations. High-fidelity textures accurately represent the premium aluminum finish and react dynamically to changes in the configuration.

REAL-TIME AR VISUALIZATION
A built-in Augmented Reality mode that allows users to project their custom-designed pergola into their actual environment at a 1:1 scale. This feature bridges the gap between digital design and physical space, enabling clients to walk around the structure and verify the fit and style before production begins.
THE RESULT
By combining a 3D customizer with AR visualization, we enabled Shoreline Awnings to bridge the gap between technical specs and customer dreams. The tool allows clients to virtually "place" their custom pergola in their actual space before the manufacturing process begins.
This has reduced the sales cycle, as users can finalize complex designs - like a black lattice roof on 4-inch posts - with total visual certainty and confidence in the final fit.
